PROJECT: Internal strip-out and alteration of 5 storey Victorian building.
BACKGROUND: Arlington House is a 300 bed hostel undergoing major refurbishment. Originally constructed by the Victorians in 1905 the hostel has provided support and shelter for thousands of homeless men including Irish poet Brendan Behan and George Orwell.
LOCATION: Camden, Central London.

Requirements
- Removal of residual residential waste.
- Soft-strip of building interior including vinyl floors, ceiling tiles and plasterboard petitions.
- Segregation and removal of all waste arisings.
- Creation of new doorways including insertion of steel support beams.
- Infill and seal redundant doorways.
- Minimal disruption to residents using sheltered accommodation during works.
- Negligible disruption to neighbours and nearby businesses.
